Senior Project Manager [SPM] required to lead the design and build of EastEnders' temporary and permanent film lots.

Key responsibilities include:
- Adapting leadership styles to maximise the efficiency of the team by creating a supportive and fun place to work;
- Managing the relationship with the main contractor and ensuring build is delivered on time, on budget and to the agreed quality;
- Assisting in the preparation and execution in the procurement process to appoint the building contractor for the permanent lot, including setting robust KPIs for the contractor to achieve during the build and sitting on selection/interview panel for selection;
- Owning a large part of the multi-million pound budget and ensuring that cash flow is managed and spend is approved in line with agreed timetable.

Key attributes for candidates include:
- Significant experience in the construction industry leading large-scale infrastructure projects successfully through to delivery;
- Appropriate advanced Project Management qualifications – candidates must demonstrate ability to use 'best practice' in all aspects of project management, with focus on practical results rather than process;
- Experience of leading a large team of industry experts through complex design and build processes;
- Expert knowledge of NEC3 construction contracts and OJEU procurement procedures;
- Experience of managing demolition, including on sites where an asbestos risk exists.
