The Forces broadcaster, BFBS, has launched a new UK channel, Forces TV, carrying a mix of news and features and they require a VT Editor on a one-year, fixed-term contract, to work on an Adobe Premiere Pro edit system, helping produce a whole range of news and feature content.

Key responsibilities include:
- Editing British Forces News stories and features to specified deadlines and to required high standard and ensuring accuracy of all work;
- Being part of the editing team for British Forces News and other programmes as required;
- Ingesting all raw material on to the server from disk, tape, hard drives and Livewire server;
- Advising reporters on how to achieve the best from their script and footage;
- Assisting reporters and cameramen in the use of Premiere Pro editing software and Livewire transmission software.

Key attributes for candidates include:
- At least three years' experience of online editing in a broadcast environment;
- Experience of online editing to tight deadlines;
- Ideally, experience of Quantel server and editing systems;
- Also, experience of receiving material through Livewire M Link IP software would be desirable.

Key responsibilities include:

3D Animation Supervisor

Turner's Cartoon Network Studio Europe is looking for an experienced 3D Animation Supervisor to work on season 4 of The Amazing World of Gumball.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing the 3D character / prop / vehicle build and a team of six in-house animators who will be producing all the 3D animation for the series;
- Model build is done at an overseas studio and you will be the point of contact with the studio overseeing the build / rigging / texturing of all new characters props and vehicles and delivering final approved assets to the animation team;
- You will then be in charge of animation making sure the style and performance is consistent across the whole team;
- Reviewing dailies, assigning scenes, following up on directorial comments and providing guidance to animators on staging, pacing and acting.
